I’m going to miss watching this show weekly. D:
I was so tired this week that I forgot to put coffee beans into coffee maker and didn’t realize my mistake until I was half way done with my coffee. -_-;
veryberrymari asked So what did you think of the new episode? A bit disappointing or well done on the execution of how Haru found his dream? Oh, I love your blog FYI!
Personally, I had a fucking ball watching Episode 12 because of all the Australian scenery. I’ve been to most of those locations and I know what they look like reality - and let me tell you, Free!’s Sydney is so much better than the real Sydney. I want to live there instead. Take me.
But that’s just me.
(Answer to the rest of ask under cut because it got long!)
Thank you so much for the long post, since you reviewed the episode perfectly and described the feeling of uneasiness towards how Haru came to his realization. I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels this way too.
Apparently, you can find a dream just by looking for it because while Haru spent the better half of this season making it clear that going pro was not what he wanted, it only took about 5 minutes for him to do a complete 180.
While I’m glad that he’s happy, if you don’t think that this epiphany was contrived due to time constraints, you might need to rewatch the entire season.
